Welcome to Moist & Delicious: Spike & Xander's Help Page. We get desperate calls all the time, asking us: "Xanman, how do I do this?", "Blondie, how do I do that?". It's not that we don't feel the love, mate, but it cuts into our shagging time. So we thought we'd put together a few ideas on how to navigate this site, with the help of our Webmum. Here goes: Main links section: To your left, pet. You'll see: Home: It'll take you back to the main page. Not to our flat, though, so don't whine. Be good, and you might get an invitation. Recently added: This one shows the last 12 stories --about US!--that were uploaded or updated. You'll get a link to the previous 12, too; etc etc. Get the idea? Categories: Now this is where the fun part begins. Here you'll see all the ways in which Xandy and I have fun, which our Webmum calls "categories". From there on, you get fics. You can play with us for a while, but you have to give us back when you're done, hey? We need our beauty rest, too. Authors: The list of aaaaaall the account-holders here (authors and not), their bio details and list of stories. And their websites, in case you want to go stalk them in their own homes. Titles: An alphabetical list of all the stories on the site. If you're an obssessive-compulsive kinda person, you might want to start from the top. Mmm... tops. Help: You are here, baby. Have you been paying attention? Search: Here you can search the site using several filters, such as penname or story title or whatever. Play with it, it's your friend. No, not that, the Search page I mean. Let go!! Spike, help! Log in: Logs you into your account. Leave your shoes at the door, and Xander the Naughty Bell-boy will show you around. Heh. **smack** Ouch. Your Account: Add a new story or a new chapter, edit or delete your stories, edit your personal information, or manage your favorites. Log out: Leaving so soon? I will pout prettily if necessary... About the SEARCH page: Simple Search: Just type in a keyword and choose where I should look for it: in Pen Names, Story Titles, Chapter Titles, or Summaries. Give us a pint when we tell you what we found! Advanced Search: Category: Choose the category where you want us to look, or choose "All Categories". Characters: So, you're looking for someone special then? Tell Xanny, and he'll look them up for you. I don't deal with all those wankers... Genre: Would you like a specific kind of story? Choose it. Otherwise, leave "All" selected. Rating: Would you like a specific rating? Choose it. Otherwise, leave "All" selected. Warning: Would you like a specific warning? Choose it. Otherwise, leave "All" selected. Searchterm: Do you have a keyword? Type it here. And click Submit, of course. Which won't make the Big Bad submit to you. Yeah, you wish. The Big Bad submits to no one. Well, except Xander, that is. Registration. You don't need to register an account to play with us. But to post your story here, you have to. This involves choosing a penname and giving your email address. Email addresses are used for admin purposes only, they can't be seen by users of the site and are not given to anyone else. To register, click the "Log in" link to your left and then the register link on the new page that opens. Once you have entered your details, a password will be mailed to the address you supplied. It's all automated, we don't choose those, so if you get a '69', it doesn't mean we're inviting. You might want to change this password to something easy to remember. Registration problems. The password will be mailed to you straight away. You should receive it within an hour of registering, although this may vary depending on your server and how busy it is. If you have a problem registering or have not received your password within 24 hours, please check the following. Make sure you have cookies installed. AOL users, to make sure you receive your password, please go into your mail controls and manually set them to allow mail from mizrychik62@hotmail.com. If you have any problems, contact Veronica, she'll deal with it. We just do the shagging part. Your account. Posting a story: Once you have logged in using your password and penname, you will be taken (oh yeah) to your account page. From here, you can do the following: Add New Story: Choose your category and then fill in the fields displayed. You can upload your story from a file or write directly to the white box there. You can use the following html codes with your story: and for bold text. and for italicised text. and for underlined text. and for a hyperlink. Wrap a piece of text with these tags. And , a horizontal line, which doesn't take a closing tag. Once your story is pasted or uploaded, hit the "Preview" button to check it before finally hitting the "Submit Story" button. (Those are my buttons, so have fun hitting them). The Admin people will check that everything's ok and accept it. If they don't accept your story, you will be mailed with a reason for this. It's usually because we didn't like what you did to us. We do have our standards. Add New Chapter: Simply choose the story you wish to add a chapter to and press the "Add Chapter" link. This takes you to a page similar to the "Add story page". Fill in the required fields as before. If you have selected "Carry over chapter info" in your "Edit Personal Information" page, most of it will be filled out already. Edit/Delete Stories: Choose the story/chapter you wish to edit or delete and make your changes in the text box. Edit Personal Information: Use this link to change your personal information, including your biography, where you can tell us aaall that uninteresting rot about your dog and your hubby and your love for bananas. You can also change your password, and enable the "review contact" feature, which means we'll let you know when you get a review. View Reviews: Check what people had to say about a fic, and say your piece if you want. But you have to be logged in for that. We sometimes make comments, too, so watch out for those. Keep us happy, and we'll tickle your muses for you. Manage Favorites: You can mark your fave stories here. If you view a story/author when you are logged in, you will see a link in the header which allows you to add the story or author to the "Favourites" section in your author biography, shown when someone clicks on "Authors" and chooses you.
